Assessing the adoption of regenerative agricultural practices in Eastern Africa

Food security remains a challenge for Africa and regenerative agricultural practices can play an important role in building resilience while sustaining production preserving diversity of ingredients rich biodiversity. This study conducted surveys eight regions East Africa, four Rwanda Kenya, to understand how circular principles are applied agriculture, potential drivers the adoption agriculture its contribution household food security. A binary logistic regression model was used capture influence independent variables on determining factors The findings suggest that farming households engage less than different practices, mainly labor-intensive such as crop rotation intercropping.
